Mission
Panhellenic Council
Greek life was founded at the Florida Atlantic University in 1987 and there are currently four Greek councils, the Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Panhellenic Council.
The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for 7 National Panhellenic Conference chapters on campus, creating a sisterhood of more than 800 women. Through educational, service, and social activities, the Panhellenic Council strives to develop its members and the student body. Our vision is to promote women in leadership, diversity, scholastic achievement, and service through relationships within and beyond the Panhellenic community. The Panhellenic Executive Board oversees each chapter as a whole.
We, as Undergraduate Members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
